Main Street CafeDining
If you are trying to shop or visit someone in Downtown Lovington around the noon hour and they are closed up, chances are they are busy eating lunch at the Main Street Cafe (201 N. Main, 575-396-1800). The fried chicken livers are to die for (if you like liver), but “house specialty” is probably the chicken-fired steak which is a staple in Eastern New Mexico. The Cafe also has a daily buffet, including a salad bar.
