Dining

Take the short drive to Pinos Altos to experience the Buckhorn Saloon (32 Main St., 575-538-9911).  A drink at the Buckhorn is a step back to the 19th century and a big steak with your drink is even better.

Diane’s Restaurant and Bakery (510 N. Bullard, 575-538-8722) has been a fixture in Downtown Silver City for many years now. Gourmet menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered, with brunch served on Saturday and Sunday. More information: www.dianesrestaurant.com

isaacsweb.jpgIsaac’s

Isaac’s (on the corner of Bullard and Broadway, 575-388-4090) is Silver City’s “taste of Manhattan.” Indeed, Isaac’s offers fine fare, live music and a great bar.
Fine Mexican fare, steaks and seafood can be enjoyed at Jalisco’s Cafe (100 S. Bullard, 575-338-2060). Everything is delicious.
